Moodboard#01 Miami

This curated moodboard  is inspired by artists we are following, trends we are spotting and the projects we are seeing. The scheme presents a mesh of texture, pattern and chalky pastel colours balanced with dusky blues.

We have been enjoying French photographer Julien Blank and his obsession with pastel pink buildings typically with a dusky blue sky backdrop. Not surprisingly, we have chosen Cole and Son’s ‘Miami’ wallpaper, which pays homage to the chalky colours and Art Deco Architecture found in South Beach Miami, to anchor the scheme.

Inspiration was also taken from fashion label Zimmerman recent global store roll-out, by Sydney based Architect Studio McQualter, who have used Designers Guild staple Brera Lino Pale as their go-to for dressing room curtaining. If you have a client who wishes to know how well Brera Lino drapes, you can ask them to recal the last time they visited the Melbourne, Sydney, London, Los Angeles or even Miami Zimmerman store.
