Au Theatre Ce Soir
Extraordinary and eclectic fabrics for glamorous interiors – and so begins the story of the SS17 collection of Fabric and Wallcoverings from the famed Christian Lacroix Maison, Paris, Au Theatre Ce Soir. Distributed worldwide exclusively by Designers Guild
The collection enjoys reinventing interiors inspired by the masterpieces from theatres and plays – the Grand Turk’s parlour from Moliere’s Bourgeois Gentilhomme, the boudoir in Colette’s Cheri and even the Fairy Banquet from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, are the muses to a whimsical and inspired collection, which was staged for photography in the Chateau de Groussay, the legendary set for the French decorative arts. From theatrical sets and decoration, the House subtly leads us to the backdrops of our lives, enabling us to become in turn the actors of our own interiors.
The Au Theatre Ce Soir fabric collection includes stunning digitally printed fabrics, luxurious weaves and dazzling embroideries, while the wallpaper collection has wonderful statement designs inspired by the fantasy and drama of the theatre.
This is a collection of wonderful art pieces that can be used in many varied ways. Team them up with Christian Lacroix plains and textures from the Atelier Lacroix Essentials collections or find your coordinates in Designers Guild’s vast collection of plain weaves. Better still be really brave and use the several Lacroix patterns all together for an extraordinary look. As well as the fabrics and wallpaper, there are lots of new cushions from Christian Lacroix, plus a wonderful bold Arlequin rug.
Strips of vintage floral patterns are combined in typically flamboyant Lacroix style. This vibrant floral design is digitally printed onto cotton.
A striking floral print from Christian Lacroix featuring photographic flowers interlaced into a neon-like lattice of light beams. Digitally printed onto pure cotton.
Take yourself into a Lacroix dream world in this eclectic print. Mythical creatures and images in a magical kingdom are combined with a not so conventional toile pattern. Available in fabric and wallpaper.
